Product Support and Security Update Periods

Naked Pools is committed to the ongoing security of our connected products. This page sets out the support period for each connected product including the date until which security updates will be provided.

This information is published in accordance with the Cyber Security (Security Standards for Smart Devices) Rules 2025, authorised by the Cyber Security Act 2024.

What is the security update support period?

The security update support period is the length of time for which Naked Pools will actively provide software and firmware security updates for a connected product. During the support period, we will release updates to address confirmed security vulnerabilities.

After the end of support date, security updates for that product will no longer be provided. We recommend customers check this page periodically and plan accordingly.

Note: The end of support date listed below cannot be reduced. If Naked Pools extends the support period for any product, the updated end date will be published on this page.

Connected Products

How security updates are delivered

Security updates for the Naked Pools App and connected device firmware are delivered automatically through the Naked Pools App. When a security update is available, you will be notified in the App and prompted to install it.

To ensure your NKD-R or NKD-M Freshwater System remains protected:

• Keep your Naked Pools App updated to the latest version via the App Store or Google Play.
• Ensure your device has an active internet connection to receive updates.
• Enable automatic updates on your smartphone where possible.

Report a security vulnerability

If you discover a security vulnerability in any Naked Pools product, please report it through our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.
