Where Pure Water Meets Pure Creativity

Acclaimed photomedia artist Tamara Dean is known for creating images that feel suspended between the natural world and something more imagined. Her work explores the deep, instinctive connection between human beings and the environments we move through — forests, fields, and, perhaps most evocatively, water.
For Tamara, water isn’t just a setting — it’s an essential part of her photography. It helps her create movement, mood, and a natural connection with the people and things she photographs, showing how a pool can become a truly inspiring space.
But creating imagery like hers takes more than imagination. It takes water that is gentle enough for her models to stay submerged for hours, and clear enough to be invisible to the lens.

Tamara’s Underwater World
Living on rainwater and deeply attuned to the sensory presence of chemicals, Tamara is sensitive to the smell and taste of chlorine. A traditional salt or chlorine pool wasn’t an option.
She chose a Naked Freshwater system because the water contains less chlorine than tap water, allowing her models to open their eyes underwater and move freely — without harshness, odour or irritation.

Working With Nature
Immersive photography demands an environment that supports the body — and the creative process.
The effect is a pool that becomes an extension of her surroundings — a seamless relationship between the environment she lives in and the environment she photographs in.

A New Way to Experience Your Pool
Naked Freshwater Pool Systems represent the next generation in pool water sanitisation: crystal-clear water that feels natural, gentle and clean — with very low chemical levels, soft feel on the skin and without the harshness of traditional salt or chlorine swimming pools.
It’s the ultimate swimming experience.
